pre-service prayer @ 9:00 AM
Before service starts, we have an optional time to gather and pray in the back room behind the stage at 9:00 am until 9:30 am. During this time, we take turns praying over the service, the congregation, and the leadership. You are welcome to join us in this time of prayer as we ask the Lord to guide Thrive Faith Community.

At 10:00 AM, we ring the church bell to kick off our service! As you find your seats, we'll let you know of all the upcoming events and other announcements, and pray as we enter a time of worship. We believe God is worthy of all praise and glory, so we come together to sing and use music to honor Him. It’s a time to connect, express gratitude, and prepare our hearts for what He has in store.
Communion
At Thrive, communion isn’t just for special occasions — it’s something we do regularly to remember Jesus’ incredible sacrifice for us. You’re invited to join us in this meaningful act of reflection and gratitude as we come together to honor His love and grace.
Children are dismissed
& offering
After worship and communion, children will be dismissed to their class in the modular building across the parking lot, where they’ll enjoy a Bible story and fun activities! Learn more about Thrive Kids here. Once the kids are dismissed, a Nursery Attendant will be available in the back room to care for babies and toddlers. We also take this time to pass around the offering buckets and pray over finances—sometimes sharing a testimony of the Lord's provision!
The message
Each week, we dive into the Bible through a message from one of our leaders, often Soorin Backer or another member of our team. Sometimes we’re blessed with a guest speaker! The sermon is always aimed at helping us grow in our faith and understanding of God’s Word.
Activation & closing
Sometimes we like to wrap up our services with an activation — whether that’s praying with someone nearby, sharing a testimony, or responding to God’s call in some way. You can expect the service to end around 12:00 PM, but we’re always open to whatever the Spirit leads!

We are located just outside of Eugene, OR, in the white chapel at Nature Discovery Christian School.
Directions:
Turn onto Beacon Dr W from River Rd. There is a large green sign for Thrive and a sign for the school where you make the turn. On your right, there will be a sign for Nature Discovery School and an open gate. Go through the gate and you will drive onto the gravel parking lot and see the church.

What time are your Sunday services?Our Sunday services begin at 10:00 AM and usually end at about 12:15 PM. We also have Pre-Service Prayer at 9:00 AM that all are welcome to attend!

What should I wear?Whether you prefer to dress up or keep it casual, we welcome you just as you are!

Is there parking available?Yes, we have a parking lot next to the church that's available for all our Sunday, Wednesday, & Event guests.

Do you offer programs for children and teens?We currently have our Thrive Kids ministry for Sunday School classes! As for teens, you can check out the events calendar for any upcoming youth events.

What can I expect during a typical service?We have all your service expectations written out on our Plan Your Visit page.

Is there childcare available during services?Yes! We have a children's class available during Sunday services for preschoolers up to 5th graders. We also have a nursery in the back room behind the stage available for cradle care during our services.

Do you offer Bible study or small group gatherings?Every other Wednesday night we have our Community Night gatherings, where we gather to discuss the Bible and connect in fellowship. Any other small group events can be seen on our Events page.

Do you offer online services?Yes, all of our services are live streamed on our Youtube channel and can be rewatched!

Are services accessible for people with disabilities?Yes! Our building has a wheelchair ramp at the front entrance. We have room for wheelchairs, and extra cushions for those who need them. Everyone is welcome!
